Estabas ahí cuando nací
Para ayudar a mi madre
Con sus ojos brillantes
Y dos vidas nuevas.
Sé que todavía
Aunque lejos
Tú estás.
Tu voz suena igual
A la que nos contaba
Historias de gatos que robaban grasa
Para hacernos dormir.
Siempre estarás
Y yo te llevaré conmigo
En el recuerdo de tus caricias,
De tu buen humor,
De tus consejos sabios
A sabor de tiempos lejanos,
En tu subir a la azotea
Donde dormíamos
Mi hermana y yo.
En el ruido de tus pasos
Que se acercaban
Y señalaban el momento del descanso.
En el brillo intenso de tu cara
Como reflejo
De nuestros pequeños rostros
Que salían de las sábanas
Como satélites.
Tú nuestro planeta nocturno
Y estrella de la mañana.
Siempre estarás,
Y siempre te llevaré conmigo
Para que las lágrimas
Se hagan cuentos
Cuando viene la hora de dormir.

A society in ruin – internal decay, are the themes that have inspired me to produce
REASON FOR PROGRESS
In the last fases of my work I try to ultimately talk about a society in ruine -the internal decay at the base
of a personal look. Opening my eyes to the hardship of life renouncing any link to REALISM
liberated my mind and created abstract forms.

-Painting a form is easy, all you need is to capture the soul
-Expelling the burden of shapes and reproducing the objects freed from their original form.
-In avoiding reproducing external aspects the art becames expression of self time.
I have combined various materials: wood, paper, canvas and have transformed them
into an emotional expression of distorted realty.
The renounce of the figurative reminescences has been “ THE REASONS FOR PROGRESS.
